The Search - Part 3 announced

The Search Part 3 cover
Dark Horse recently released the cover art for The Search Part 3 and the release date of 30th October 2013.

This is a description of what this part has in store:

"Avatar Aang travels to the spirit world to parley with an ancient power, bringing Fire Lord Zuko ever closer to discovering the truth about his mother’s fate—and his own past.

Yet Zuko’s sister Azula is becoming increasingly dangerous, threatening to ruin everything that Zuko, Aang, Katara, and Sokka have struggled to achieve on their search!"

Sounds interesting but I think the question on everybody's minds is whether Zuko finally reunites with Ursa or would they leave us another cliffhanger again? I hope not. Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best in October!

The Search Part 2, page 1
A preview of the first page of The Search - Part 2 was revealed at WonderCon last month and the image is embedded in this post. (Click the picture for full size)

Seems like Ursa "got the jump" on a sleeping Azula but looking at the coloration of Ursa, it appears that Azula might be hallucinating. Or could it be something more? No one knows till 10th July 2013 when Part 2 is released.

TLOK Book One Air Artbook preview
Kotaku.com has a few preview pages of the TLOK Book One Artbook. The resolution is small and the words are a bit hard to make out but the concept art is still stunning nonetheless. Like the ATLA Artbook, I believe that we'll be able to see high resolution preview pages of it on Amazon.com very soon.

In addition to the description of the TLOK Artbook as mentioned here, there are a few more details regarding the artbook:

IGN saw a preview for The Legend of Korra, Book 2: Spirits
Posted by Icy_Ashford on May 8th, 2013 @ 7:52 AM EST (697)

A short scene from The Legend of Korra, Book 2: Spirits was shown to IGN and this was what they said about the preview.

"The sequence we saw found Korra battling one of these spirits, initially just seen as dark tentacles, surrounded by a purple energy, coming out of the ground on a hillside. Korra asks, “Spirit, why are you so angry? What have we done to offend you?”, only for the tentacles to violently knock her aside, as they do to anyone else who attempts to help her, including Tenzin and an adult, male Water Tribe member I didn't recognize at a glance.

Then, the full octopus-like creature rises out of the ground, and begins moving down the hill, utlimately crashing through a fence into a carnival being held, as Korra pursues it. On the offense, Korra shoots the creature with fireballs and begins to get the upper hand, but she is suddenly grabbed by one of its tentacles, and smashed down into the ground. And... we cut to black, for now.

And sorry, my fellow Korra fans, Nickelodeon is not releasing this scene to the public for the time being. As the scene was introduced, they noted that there is still a lot of work to be completed on the animation side for Korra: Book 2 - though the scene in question still looked terrific, even if it wasn’t in its final form. Suffice to say, it hinted at some very exciting things to come."

Sounds interesting, would it be another misunderstanding like what Aang faced with Hei Bai back in Avatar: The Last Airbender or would the problem now be entirely different?

IGN also mentioned that even though an airdate for Book 2 isn't out yet, Nickelodeon has said "it would be back later this year". Fingers crossed that there would be some news at SDCC in July.
The Search Part 2 preview on Buzzfeed

The Search, Part 2
Buzzfeed recently released a few preview pages of The Search - Part 2 which is coming out later this year on 10th July 2013 as mentioned in this post.

The first few panels is a flashback to the scene in the episode "Zuko Alone" where Ursa wakes Zuko up and says a few words before departing. There's an additional scene where she leaves on a boat that is manned by a boatman. How interesting.

The panels after that show the Aang, Momo, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, and Azula walking through a forest called "Forgetful Valley" with mysterious face-like symbols on the trees and the creatures inhabiting it. Appa appears to be left at the start of the valley given his fear for enclosed spaces which was shown in the cartoon.

These scenes look interesting so far but it looks like we would have to wait till July to uncover the mystery...
