In support of the launch of the second THQ Avatar game, Gametap has released an interview yesterday with Avatar co-creator Bryan Konietzko.

Although the interview covers many things mentioned in previous articles and interviews, it does have a few new tidbits of interest. For example, the upcoming episode (for the US anyway) "Nightmares and Daydreams" is one of Bryan's favorite from a comedic perspective, just as was "The Fortuneteller" from season one.

Click on the link above or the Gametap icon to read the full interview and learn why Bryan would have liked to give Foaming Mouth Guy a bigger role!

The New York Anime Festival will feature a one hour Avatar panel hosted by Nick Magazine's Dave Roman on December 7th at 4 PM EST! The official write up of the panel is as follows:

Nickelodeon Magazine editor Dave Roman talks about Avatar, gives hints about the upcoming series finale, and presents a behind-the-scenes look at the various stages of making the Avatar comic -- from story pitches, to script revisions, to creating the final comic book!

Tickets to the whole festival are $55 and are available on the NY Anime Fest website. Individual day passes are $30.

Dave has been a big supporter of Avatar and worked hard to produce the awesome Avatar magazines. Let's show our support and make sure to attend his panel on the 7th! Hope to see you all there.
